Municipality of Bcharri Launches “Towards a complete e-Municipality”

The municipality of Bcharri has launched the project “Towards an E-Municipality” during a ceremony held in the municipal palace. The Launching was sponsored with the presence of the deputies Setrida Tawk Geagea and Elie Keyrouz. The attendance included Dr Samir Geagea, the patriarchal deputy Bishop Maroun Ammar, Mayor of Bcharri Rouba Shafshak, president of the federation of municipalities of Bcharri Caza, the president of municipality of Baakafra Elie Makhlouf, the president of municipality of Bcharri Freddy Keyrouz, the president of municipality of Hasroun Gerard Assemani, the president of municipality of Bazoun Rami Abou Feraa, the president of municipality of Bane Joseph Khoudayr, the president of municipality of Qnat Antoine Saade, the president of municipality of Barhalioun Diala Hashem, Joseph Fenianos representing the president of the Gibran Khalil Gibran committee, priests of Bcharri, The coordinator of the Lebanese Forces in Bcharri Caza Joseph Isak, Sponsor of the E-government project Ghassan Hasbani, principals of schools and a number of businessmen and locals.
President Keyrouz, in his word, explained the role of the E-Municipality in the communication between the citizens, the tourists and the municipality, Where every citizen is an officer and is able to deliver his ideas, suggestions and complaints, directly and 24 hours a day.
Mr Keyrouz added that as a first step towards the E-Municipality, is the launching of the E-Municipality and a new website, making Bcharri the first in Lebanon to develop such tools.
The president also thanked EURISKO MOBILITY, represented by its CEO Mr. Edgard Tawk and its team who delivered their work free of charge. A detailed demonstration presented by Edgard and Ziad, elaborated the full functionalities of the application and how to use it.
Finalizing the ceremony, was the word of Dr. Samir Geagea thanking the late Mounir Barakat for the new municipal building. Dr Geagea later thanked Setrida Geagea for her concern in Bcharri and the Caza and for relaunching the Cedars International Festivals.
Later, he thanked the brothers, Edgard and Ziad wishing them success in their company and also in the public affair.
Finally, Dr. Geagea hoped that the government will follow the Bcharri Municipality regarding the communication with the citizens.
